Pasadena-Pine Point

Looking out the jetty towards Prout's Neck taken the morning of July 30th.

For some reason, I never got around to processing the photos from this trip until 2018. So there is even less narrative to present - but it was the usual Pine Point vacation: walking on sand bars in the morning, supervising the tide in the afternoon, and convening the family and friends for a communal dinner in the evening. Everyone free to do their own thing. It was wonderful!

The background on the webpage for this trip is a shot taken while walking the sandbars on the morning of August 1st - the morning light on the undulating ridges of sand. I've altered the color, but not the pattern, to match the color scheme of this site.

The images on the site, unless otherwise noted, were taken either using an Olympus C8080 Zoom (3264x2448 pixel JPEGs), an Olympus Stylus 790 SW (3072x2304), or an iPhone 4S (3264x2448). I occasionally had a circular polarizing filter installed on the C8080 depending on the light.

I've whittled the image size down to two sizes - a thumbnail I use on the page for the day, and a 1280x960 pixel image.
