(a) … Del Coronado Hotel, a very welcome coincidence of timing. This view of the inner court from one of the balconies.

(b) … to see out of easily and although the room was large and clean, we chanced to the ocean side mini-suite with a balcony. This Thelma enjoyed as she relaxed from the bustle of the wedding and weeks before.

(c) … The modern building in the background is the annex to the hotel. We were glad not to housed there as we enjoyed the ambiance of the old hotel. Larry Brandt, my assistant, felt otherwise and was glad his assignment was in the new facility.

(d) … the Lemoore Naval Air Station. After the wedding we all flew out to San Diego and while we went to the conference they returned to base. When the conference was over, Carleen drove us to Oceanside where Howie and Debbie met us. We stayed in a Holiday Inn, but later learned we could have stayed on the Queen Mary which is permanently docked there. We met Debbie’s folks and had lunch before going on to the base.
