It's 1985, and I'm sitting in my first house in Dorchester MA getting acquainted with the newly arrived Hoover. Hoover was the offspring of my first floor tenant's cats, Sunny (who Hoover resembled) and Booper a tabby tom.
Hoover voguing in my bedroom window in Dorchester (probably 1985-86).
Kim's cat, Bailey, loved to nest in my shirts, especially immediately after they came out of the dryer (1986).
Wander is not voguing here - there's a moth to be hunted down. This shot was taken in my house in Ashburnham (1987).
Wander always enjoyed Christmas. The skirt under the tree was a great place to nest, and the tree ornaments made fabulous cat toys, usually at 2 AM in the morning (1987).
Wander loved to get into boxes, the smaller the better. Here he's pouring out of a box on the floor in our house in Providence (1991).
Wander was Hoover's half-brother through Booper, their sire. Wander's dam was a blue Persian that lived up the street in Dorchester.
Love and Wander huddling for warmth by the radiator in the bathroom in Providence. Love always sought out the warm spots in the house (1991).

Naptime! We've moved to Pasadena and set up shop. That's Wander, Hoover, and Xena, from left to right (1999).
Wander, being adorable, on the kitchen floor (2000).
Xena voguing for my benefit while computing (2000).
Xena and Wander making themselves comfortable on our bed. Xena got along well with Wander, less so with any of the other cats (2001).
