For all the Christmas pictures below, there is some slight doubt as to the year: the box they were in was marked “Spring 1966” but then there was a note that some were from Christmas 1966, which doesn’t make too much sense. But since Beth and James definitely look older than they do in the pictures from Christmas 1965, I’m going to go along with this dating.

This one is not from 1967, as I
originally claimed, but from March 1966, my last semester at Bowdoin,
when Virginia visited me in Brunswick, and we drove to Southport Maine,
where this picture was taken.
